The art, politics, psychology and education of the Four Children

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Using classical midrashim of the Four Children and twenty modern artistic representations, we'll explore how Jews imagined the offspring they wanted, and were most afraid to have. The art reflects changing Jewish cultural politics, most recently including the four daughters. We'll examine my haggadot: A Different Night, A Night to Remember and Halaila Hazeh. Your next seder will benefit. Guaranteed.
