Living for centuries side-by-side with our Muslim cousins, Jews have had a vital influence on Middle Eastern and Moroccan music. In this session Yair Dalal examines how Jewish musicians, composers and singers of both sexes influenced Arabic music both in and outside of Israel. This session will be infused with musical interludes, oriental clips and oud accompaniment.
